“Not about it.”
All are phrases that come out of my mouth several times throughout any given day. Anything that does not immediately appeal to my narrow list of interests is not worth doing. An optional class? Not going. Hitting up the club on a Saturday night? Not down. Freaking out over Kim Kardashian’s latest outfit? Not about it. Never ask for my opinion, my help or my sympathy, because I genuinely do not give a fuck.
By not wasting my time doing lame ass stuff, I have found the things I truly love. I love drinking a cappuccino in a cafe while people watching stalking, I love rewatching deleted scenes from Ja’mie: Private School Girl until I have every line memorized, I love reading alone in the sun, and I love love love looking at beautiful clothes. See that smiling face in the photos above? That is the face of pure bliss, of knowing that I live life on my own terms. FOMO doesn’t exist for me, because whatever I’m up to is always better. So the next time someone tells me what I should or should not be doing my response is “IDGAF.”
